Jolly Christmas

 Een kleine koukleum op mijn kerstkaart van vandaag. Ik vind het uiltje zo schattig en heb daarom de kaart heel eenvoudig gehouden zodat hij een echte blikvanger is geworden. Het muziekpapier komt uit een oud muziekboek dat ik bij de kringloop heb gevonden. Ja hoor: daar vind je ook heel wat leuke materialen die je bij het kaarten maken kunt gebruiken!

A little freezing owl on my Christmas card today. I think the owl is so cute and that's why I kept the card very simple so that it has become a real eye-catcher. The music paper comes from an old music book I found at the thrift store. Yes: there you will also find a lot of nice materials that you can use when making cards! Ein kleine frierende Eule auf meiner Weihnachtskarte zeig ich Euch heute. Ich finde die Eule so süß und deswegen habe ich die Karte sehr schlicht gehalten, damit sie ein echter Hingucker geworden ist. Das Notenpapier stammt aus einem alten Musikbuch, das ich im Secondhand-Laden gefunden habe. Ja: Dort findest du auch viele schöne Materialien, die du beim Karten basteln verwenden kannst! En dan laat ik nog een kaart zien die ik voor dezelfde challenge heb gemaakt. Bij de planning is iets misgegaan en de kaart hierboven had ik eerder gemaakt dan deze kaart met Egeltje Ed van de Country Companions. Maar  beide zijn leuk, dus ik laat ze  allebei zien. 

De achergrond is gemaakt met Distress Ink waarop ik met VersaMark sterren van Leane Creatief heb gestempeld en geëmbost. De sterrenkrans is van Marianne Design en de tekst was ooit een gratis bijlage bij een Engels tijdschrift.

And then I show another card that I made for the same challenge. Something went wrong with the planning and I had made the card on top before this one with Hedgehog Ed from the Country Companions. But both are so nice, so I'll show them both. The background was made with Distress Ink on which I stamped and embossed stars with VersaMark. The star wreath is by Marianne Design and the text was once a free supplement to an English magazine.
