Er gaat weer een nieuwe challenge van start bij het blog van http://cyhtp.blogspot.com en de opdracht is deze keer: maak een kaart in zwart en oranje. Nou denk je daarbij al gauw aan Halloween, maar ik heb het anders gedaan.
Zoals jullie (misschien) wel weten vind ik het leuk om mooie landschapscenes op kaarten te maken en ik ben voor deze kaart een paar uurtjes heerlijk bezig geweest met Distress Ink en stempels van Crafty Individuals. Ik heb de afdruk van de giraffe ingekleurd met een zwarte stift waardoor het een silhouet werd. Voor de omlijsting heb ik een vierkante vorm van Nellie Snellen uit zwart karton gestanst en daarna de randen geëmbost met een smalle folder van Leane Creatief. Bij de papieren bloemen zitten nog blaadjes van Nellie S. en Martha Stewart die heb ik uit restjes oranje karton en dessinpapier heb gestanst.
A new challenge starts at the blog of http://cyhtp.blogspot.com and the assignment this time is: make a card in black and orange. Well, ofcourse you think about Halloween, but I did it differently.
As you (maybe) know I like to create nice landscape scenes on cards and for this card I spent a few hours with Distress Ink, a bit of water and stamps from Crafty Individuals. I colored the print of the giraffe with a black marker, making it a silhouette. For the frame I diecut a square shape by Nellie Snellen out of black cardboard and then embossed the edges with a narrow folder from Leane Creatief. I added some leaves from Nellie S. and Martha Stewart which I diecut out of snippets of oranje card and designpapers and I attached some paper flowers from my stash.
