Deze kerstman heeft het goed bekeken: lekker naar de tropen, surfen en onder de palmen liggen, want het weer hier in Nederland wil maar niet zomers worden! In Engelstalige landen hoor je wel vaker de uitdrukking: Christmas in july (kerst in juli), maar in augustus mag toch ook wel?!

This Santa has made a good choice: going to the tropics, surfing and enjoying life under the palm trees, because the weather here in the Netherlands just doesn't want to get summery! In English-speaking countries you often hear the expression: Christmas in july (Christmas in July), but August is also allowed, right?!

Zelf heb ik altijd wat moeite met een zomerse kerstman maar dat ligt aan mij want Kerst valt lang niet overal ter wereld in de winter.
